SILK admits he has convicted Vick, but he also wants to have an open mind.
OK. I admit it. I have already convicted Vick of the crime he is accused of. Why? I never liked him in the first place so i want to see him in jail. So, i am guilty of what the NAACP and Al Sharpton has asked us not to do. So, i am going to wait until Vick has his day in court until I pass anymore judgement on him. However, let's say this was a white quarterback in the NFL that was accused of the same thing as Vick. Can anyone name a group, NAACP, or minister, Sharpton and two on Fox tonight, that would come out and support him? I say you would not be able to name a group or minister. Why? Please let me know what you think and if i am wrong.

Speaking with you earlier today clarified your statements for me a bit more. On the contrary, I was a HUGE Michael Vick fan in the beginning. You know that, SILK. I had two #7 jerseys that I wore to Falcons games & other occasions. Therefore, my viewpoint is that of a former fan.
I believe Vick deserves a fair trial like any other American citizen, but all the evidence, testimony & the actions of Mr. Vick himself point to the fact that he IS guilty.
This whole situation revolves around two of my passions: fighting animal cruelty & advocating the Pit Bull breed. I wouldn't care if Peyton Manning or some super-conservative white-bread corporate CEO were involved - I would still be as angry and disgusted as I am now. I knew that eventually this scandal would turn into a race issue, which is truly pathetic. People who think Michael Vick is being singled out because he's a multi-millionaire BLACK athlete have been fed full of the same useless garbage that gets nothing accomplished for African-Americans in today's society. This is NOT a race issue - it's about the lack of respect for life and criminal behaviour. A man with Michael Vick's stature, power & wealth should be able to make a valid contribution to society and show the world what kind of integrity he has despite his upbringing. Instead, he has proven to the world that he is a coward who would rather exert his dominance over powerless beings to pump up his bloodlust and make himself look like the biggest thug on the block. Let the NAACP & Al Sharpton have him. They should be so proud to defend him.
