Miscellaneous ramblings...

Well, it's about time I posted something else here, right? Most of my time and energy has been spent elsewhere, including editing my photos as I have time and posting them on my DeviantArt gallery. I included a sample above.

I am also in the middle of packing and moving to my parents' farm for a couple of months. It's a slow, painful process for one person, but I really don't like anyone else handling my stuff until it's safely packed away. I'm just freaky like that. I am really looking forward to staying there, however. Their home and property is serene, beautiful and teeming with wildlife. I'm sure I'll have more photos to post in the next few months.

I realize I'm hopping around like crazy, but my A.D.D. is particularly out of control this morning. I would like anyone who comes across this post to check out my friend's blog: Custom Canine Blog. Custom K9 Trainer is an excellent source of knowledge when it comes to doggie behavior. He graciously added me as an author and I hope we can add more educational and canine awareness posts soon that you will enjoy!

On a very happy note, I have fortunately been able to stay in touch with my Sarge almost every day since he left for Iraq. He and his team are doing well, save for a few nasty dust storms (see his pics above) and being relocated to a camp full of jarheads (no offense, jarheads!). He and his men have received all the care packages my friends and I have sent so far, so I want anyone who reads this to know that #1) shipping care packages to soldiers is EASY and not too expensive if you consult with your post office...and #2) our men and women in uniform GREATLY APPRECIATE all items sent from home. It means the world to them to know they are loved and supported!!! Please contact me if you are interested in sending any items to Sarge's unit or anywhere else. I'll be glad to help you!

Lastly, I have made the decision to attach an adult content warning label to this blog. This is not because I intend to start posting pornographic material (*wiggles eyebrows*), but I know some of you have kids and I certainly wouldn't want you to bring up Corvidae and have "I Sit on Acid" start blaring from my playlist. Just a bit of caution will do....

So that's it, dear friends. I have gone on long enough to make your eyes roll back in your head, so I'm finished. Take care and have a happy 4th of July!!!

Because he's Riddick, bitches

Currently engaging in: IM-ing with dragoncreeper & sketching
Currently watching: Pitch Black

More of my random, multitasking babble, but my A.D.D. has flared out of control. Funny, but when I'm down or if I'm having one of my bi-polar moments, Pitch Black always lightens my mood. I also named a wild gray rat in my backyard Riddick. I really am disturbed.

Please check out dragoncreeper's new blog The Young & The Stressless. DC is my devious little NIN-sister from California. Please be prepared for things to get even more bizarre...Stay tuned!
P.S. This is how SILK shaves his head every day...
