We are all animals here......

It didn't take me long in life to grasp the fact that most humans approach each day by posing, posturing, reacting.....Life is a psychological game - it's all about the interplay of the stronger animals versus the weaker animals. It's quite interesting how some of the more physically imposing and verbally aggressive animals can lose their shit when the smallest crisis arises. All that fluff and bulk and trash talk means nothing if the integrity of the mind's wall collapses. On the contrary, some of the smaller, more quiet and more intelligent animals can impose quite an alpha presence in the face of turmoil.
Bottom line: the opportunity to step up and dominate (without letting others realize what's taking place at the ascension of a crisis) can present itself in the most delectable manner.......

Santa Claws

Last Saturday a group of friends and I headed to the Humane Society of Hall County with bagloads of loot purchased from PetSmart to play "Santa Claws" for all the homeless animals. What a powerful experience......

I honestly cannot find the right words right now to describe what transpired that day, so I will allow the photos I took to speak for themselves.

One bizarre Christmas Day entry..........

I dream. I dream I'm floating on the surface of my own life. Watching it unfold. Observing it. I'm the outsider looking in. ....Dexter Morgan

Ice. Falling from the dapple gray sky - a sky that reminds me of a dun Arabian horse. The air is cold and wet...the ground is covered with frozen slush. A white Christmas in Georgia...

Christmas for me is always quite unconventional and strange. December 25th is the estimated birth date of Jesus Christ, but that seems to be where it ends in today's society. Instead of celebrating the 33-year life and teachings of Christ, a majority of the people around me celebrate the American dollar and how far it can go to impress others. Christmas has evolved into a holiday of greed and excess for the most part. That is why I escaped the massive amounts of casseroles and brandishing of diamond bracelets on Christmas Eve for a bit.....I walked away from it to clear my head and see the world stripped bare of ritualistic overeating and posturing.

I visited a park at Lake Lanier - Just my camera and I...haunted and troubled by the fact that the worst drought in Georgia has depleted our beautiful lake of so many feet of water. A lone gray and white heron was my only company until some dipshit in a putrid yellow Exterra drove up with bass rattling every window. Damn, I wish I had had more than a camera to shoot with. Then I remembered it was Christmas Eve and I left my spoiled moment for yet another Bagheera mini-adventure.

I suppose it's safe to say that most people don't relish the idea of curling up in front of the TV on Christmas Eve to watch (with extremely delicious pleasure) a show about a sexy and quite charming serial killer. I donned my new flannel pajamas and piled up on the sofa with my pit bulls and purring kitties to watch the festivities begin. Dexter is a damn good show - brilliant acting and writing that puts any other show on television to shame. And give me dark and alluring Dexter Morgan ANY day over Dr. McDreamy-screamy or whatever the hell women call him. I suppose I really am twisted...

Ahhh....today I will spend time with my closest family and friends - the ones who truly accept me for who I am. The ones I don't have to fake happiness and socially acceptable tripe with. Then I will come home and prepare my mind for yet another day of corporate slavery tomorrow.

Merry Christmas from Bagheera!

Am I Such a Monster????

Why am I a monster in the eyes of the general public?
Why do I have such a terrible reputation?
Why are people afraid of me?
Why am I chosen to fight?
Why am I exploited?
Why am I a symbol of aggression and violence?
Why can I not just be loved??????????

Because I'm a Living Undead Girl....

I haven't been around here for a bit....I'm slagging off on the blogging for various reasons...predominately CORPORATE SERVITUDE and personal life issues. Don't worry, though, I do spend quality time recovering emotionally in cheerful places like graveyards. I took the above photos recently........enjoy yourself! (Makes you want to visit, doesn't it?)

Willie Nelson: Dog's Best Friend

Willie Nelson, an avid animal lover, has teamed up with the organization Best Friends Animal Society to make the above PSA on anti-dogfighting in Georgia. Although animal cruelty is a felony in the state of Georgia, dogfighting rings are still rampant and Georgia's laws are extremely weak regarding this disgusting activity. Thank you, Willie, for speaking out against dogfighting in our beautiful state! Hopefully dogfighting legislation will become much stricter in all 50 states.

The Story of a Dog Named Gypsy

If you have men who will exclude any of God's creatures from the shelter of compassion and pity, you will have men who will deal likewise with their fellow men. ~St. Francis of Assisi

She was found on the side of a road, abandoned and dying from her wounds. The flesh was practically rotting off her face and her leg was severely infected. She was the obvious loser of a vicious dogfight and had been disposed of much the same as an empty beer bottle....discarded like trash....

A team of compassionate and dedicated veterinarians and technicians saved her life...treated her wounds...performed crucial surgery on her...comforted her...loved her... They named her Gypsy. Gypsy had probably never felt human hands stroke her or caress her lovingly. She had probably never received proper vet care. No human voice had ever soothed her troubled soul until after her horrible fate. This precious life was not wasted, however, for her will to survive against the odds made her strong in heart and spirit. Because she lay on the side of the road struggling to stay alive, an angel rescued her. Because she wagged her tail at the sound of a saviour's voice although she had suffered horrific cruelty at the hands of a monster, she touched the hearts of many. And through all the pain and torment of treatment and therapy, this special dog maintained her sweet nature. Cast away because she was a lover instead of a fighter, she in turn fought the greatest struggle of her life and prevailed over the deepest cruelty and death itself.

Gypsy the pit bull is testament to the will to survive and the power to forgive. If her story doesn't touch you, then I have nothing in common with you.

Art Thieves

My friend, Nadia (aka FrenchLady) at DeviantArt has become the victim of a cowardly troll. Nadia has a beautiful collection of erotic photography, including many self-portraits, that she has been posting over the last few months. Sadly, after just those same few months, Nadia's work is being stolen and advertised as stock photos on this loser's gallery. This kind of theft of someone else's heart-felt expression of the soul is ABOMINABLE. DeviantArt is a network of wonderful artists and writers who share, critique, and sell art. Almost everyone there is respectful and sincere with the exception of little dipshits like this one. If anyone here has a DeviantArt account (I know some of you do), please watch out for: THIS THIEVING BASTARD. (warning - ADULT CONTENT)...

In the meantime, to honor my friend and her work, I have posted her photo "Feet Fetish I" above. And again, her gallery can be found HERE. We will fight this coward together!!!

Kentucky Wildcats - 13...GEORGIA BULLDOGS - 24

On another note, Tennessee squeaked by Vandy 25 - 24. Damn. I know Butterfly is cheering all the way up in Bluff City!

Bloody Assassins...

Because I ADORE assassins, guns and international conspiracy, I am so excited about the upcoming film Hitman, starring Timothy Olyphant as Agent 47. This movie is actually based on a video game by the same name, but its dark turns and twists are quite riveting, as well as the intrigue of Agent 47 and his mission. More info on the movie can be found HERE. The movie premieres on November 21st, same day as The Mist.

Blackout Saturday

The intensity and emotion could not have set a better stage yesterday at Sanford Stadium in Athens, Georgia. Blackout Saturday was a smashing success, and the Dawgs trounced Auburn 45 - 20. Knowshon Moreno and Thomas Brown together picked up almost 180 net yards rushing, working as a hard-running, leg-churning steamrolling machine on the ground. These two outstanding players (pictured above) roused the fans and the team into a force that Auburn couldn't overcome. Hopefully all this incredible momentum will lead us to yet another victory against the Kentucky Wildcats next week. Dogs vs. Cats.....why shouldn't we win?

Akira to Bagheera - For anyone who cares....

Just a little clarification here for my friends who post with me elsewhere on various sites....On almost all other sites I am known as Akira in some form or another (AkiraBlue, AkiraGrrl, Akira605). Here I am known as Bagheera. I'm not schizophrenic (that I know of), I just have my reasons for creating a blogspot account under Bagheera. That's all.

SILK'S Wet Dream...

I don't know why I haven't made a Georgia-Florida post before now...I guess I really am autistic. On October 27, 2007, the Georgia Bulldogs showed up in Jacksonville, Florida and proceeded to kick Gator ass all over the freaking field. Knowshon Moreno (watching this guy run brings back memories of #34 himself...Hershel Walker) racked up 33 carries and 188 yards in this splendid game. The final score? Georgia 42 Florida 30. Thanks to SILK (a former UGA basketball player), I have been privy to the above video many, many times at work today... GOOOOOOOOO DAWGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. Please pay close attention to Trinton Sturdivant's (#77 - Offensive Tackle) little shimmy close to the end. You cannot miss it, being that it gets a yellow Madden-style circle to highlight it... I think the "Sturdivant" will become the next big move myself...

Halloween...Samhain...Day of the Dead....

Just because I love the sinister season and kitties. No need to elaborate...heh heh...

French Lady, French Lady...

The above photo is titled "Undercover II" by Nadia AKA French Lady on DeviantArt. She is an experimental fetish photographer from France (I'll bet the name didn't give her away, lol!). She has a black baby "panther" similar to my own Musashi. Her gallery can be found HERE.
***Warning - it does contain erotic and adult images. Very artistic and devious you are, Nadia!

Introducing Laurie's Work...

Mass of Spiders

Leo Isn't he precious???

Charleston Past

DeviantArt is such an excellent way to meet other artists, network and make friends. I have recently met Laurie from Charleston, SC, who is not only a great digital photographer, but also makes beautiful handmade objects. I am going to order a special Laurie spider...aren't they cute? I love handcrafted "creepy" items.
Laurie is also a huge animal lover much like myself. Her puppy Leo is just adorable, isn't he? He has a tan buddy named Daisy Mae who's also a cutie.
I'm glad we ran into each other, Laurie!

P.S. Please check out her gallery HERE.

Life......again......

I just watched "The Fallen Woman" episode of LIFE again....I absolutely love this show! No one is perfect...we all have our character flaws and negative behavior traits and this show captures such flaws so brilliantly. Everyone has demons - no one can deny that. If anyone claims that he/she has never engaged in destructive behavior of some sort, I would say that he or she is lying. One of the things I love about LIFE is that such activity isn't always necessarily wrong...sometimes we have defense mechanisms or habits that keep us in the game. Life itself is difficult, challenging and sometimes extremely harsh. The way we keep our head above water may not always be pretty or acceptable, but our actions make us human.

P.S. On a more shallow note...Detectives Charlie Crews & Dani Reese are the sexiest pairing on TV. See above...

Oh Bear.......

It should be illegal for any man to be so rugged, hot & BRITISH....... Bear, your posh Eton accent is intoxicating and the way you eat spiders, sheep's eyeballs and turtle blood is so.....well, I'll just say no other man can ingest such disgusting things and make it look almost SEXY....

Above are photos from the upcoming third season of Man vs. Wild. Looks like Bear gets naked again.... Ladies, if you haven't watched the show, any time Bear jumps in a river/lake/peat bog, he strips his clothes off to prevent hypothermia...Check out his 1/2 naked push-ups on the Alaskan shoreline:

That's why the female viewers become so excited whenever Bear gets wet. I'll be anxiously awaiting Mr. Grylls' new adventures for certain!
